- Acropolis of Athens
The Acropolis is an Ancient Citadel located on top of rocky hill of Athens. The meaning of Acropolis is ‘the highest city’ in ancient Greek. This ancient citadel is over 2000 years old and make this construction is one of the oldest archaeological sites in the world. This Ancient citadel is basically a small city that covers almost 7 acres of area on top of the hill. This small city consists few old construction from the golden age of Acropolis such as the Parthenon, the Proplyaia, the Erechtheion, and the Temple of Athena Nike. Most of the Construction is made by limestones and pentelic marble.
- The Parthenon
The Parthenon is a former big temple that is dedicated to the goddess Athena. It is because the people of Athens considered Athena as their patron. This huge former temple is located in the area of the Acropolis. This former temple is built in 447 BC during the peak of Athenian Empire and completed the decoration in 432 BC. This temple is regarded as an enduring symbol of Ancient Greece, Athenian Democracy and Western Civilization. After serves as a great temple for a long time, This temple is converted to a mosque after the Ottoman Conquest in 1460. Sadly this temple was destroyed by ignited Ottoman dump ammunition.
- Erechtheion
The Erechtheion is temple that is dedicated to the goddess Athena and god Poseidon. This temple was originally built for replacing the old temple. This temple is located in the northern area of Acropolis. The construction of the temple began in 421 BC and this temple is still standing after more than 2200 years. The entire construction is built by marble from Mount Pentelikon and Friezes with Black limestones. This construction as an early examples of egg and dart and Guilloche Ornamental moldings method.
- The Temple of Olympian Zeus
The Temple Of Olympian Zeus is a former Colossal Temple at the centre of Greek. The Temple is also known as the Olympieion or Columns of Olympian Zeus. The construction started in 6th century ordered by Athenian tyrants and completed during the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian. This massive temple took almost 650 years to build. This temple is mostly built with marble and the height of the Corinthian is unusually tall at 17.5 meter with 1.7 meter diameter.

Mount Olympus is a very beautiful mountain that looks like Oreo cookies because the top of the mountain is covered with snow and some of the areas not. This mountain is the highest mountain in all over Greece. It is located between the border of Thessaly and Macedonia. This mountain is one of the mountains that listed for having the most peaks. It has 52 peaks and the highest peaks are called Mytikas. The meaning of the word Mytikas is nose and Mytikas peaks located 2,919 meters above sea levels. The Mytikas is one of the highest points in all over Europe. This mountain is considered as home of gods in the Greek mythology. Its shape is formed by rain and wind and formed of sedimentary rock laid down 200 million years ago.
