ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrive Paro – Thimphu (L/D)
Welcome to Paro Airport, Bhutan. A land of Thunder Dragon. On arrival in Thimphu, check into the hotel. Afternoon, proceed to visit National Memorial Chorten: a monument for world peace and prosperity. Later visit Trashichhoedzong (opens until 4 pm): This impressive fortress/monastery houses the Secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the King, and various government offices. It is also the summer residence of the Chief Abbot and the central monk body. Afterwards, drive to Buddha Point (Kuenselphodrang). Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 02: Thimphu (B/L/D)
Morning after breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing visit National Library, which holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts and manuscripts. Also visit the nearby Institute for Zorig Chusum, commonly known as Arts & Crafts School or Painting School. Textile Museum: With the opening of the Textile Museum, Bhutanese textiles have reached new heights as one of the most visible distinct art forms. (Closed on Sundays). In the afternoon in Thimphu visit Changangkha Lhakhang: It is a fortress-like temple and monastic school perched on a ridge above Thimphu, south of Motithang. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu (Altitude 2400m).
Day 03: Thimphu / Paro (125 km, approx 4 hours’ drive) (B/L/D)
The morning after breakfast drive to Paro: en route visit Simtokha Dzong. This dzong, built in 1627 is the oldest in Bhutan. Upon arrival in Paro, check in at the Hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong, once a watchtower, built to defend Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th century. Afterward, walk down a hillside trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, which has a long and fascinating history. Overnight at the hotel in Paro. (Altitude 2200m)
Day 04: Paro (B/L/D)
Morning excursion to Taktshang Lhakhang or Tiger Nest (approx 5 hrs trekking), perched on the side of a cliff 900m above the Paro Valley floor. On the drive towards Paro town en route visiting Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries of the Kingdom reflecting the introduction of Buddhism in Bhutan. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel in Paro.
Day 05: Departure Paro Airport (B)
After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to the airport for a flight to your onward destination. Our representative will help you with exit formalities and then bid you farewell.

Upon confirmation, by no of working days, penalty will be applied 20 days - 15 days: 50% of the full payment will be forfeited 14 days - 08 days: 75% of the full payment will be forfeited 07 days - 0 days: 100% of the full payment will be forfeited
12) Cancellation will be accepted on written notice. But subject to hotel/supplier approval otherwise it remains as fully charged and non-refundable
13) Sri Sutra reserves the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, route, or timing whenever necessary or in the case of unforeseen situation
