Why is Casablanca, Morocco so famous?
As Morocco's largest city and its main port, Casablanca is known for its energy and commerce. With its mix of Arab, Berber, European, and African influences, it has a rich history, culture, and cuisine. The city is modern, but also retains many handsome art deco buildings from the early 1900s
Chefchaouen, or Chaouen, is a city in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco. It’s known for the striking, blue-washed buildings of its old town. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled lanes. In the shady main square of Place Outa el Hammam is the red-walled Kasbah, a 15th-century fortress and dungeon, and Chefchouen Ethnographic Museum. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises nearby
Why is the Bahia Palace famous?
The Bahia Palace in Marrakech is a stunning example of Moroccan architecture and design. Built in the late 19th century, it is a sprawling complex of gardens, courtyards, and rooms that are filled with intricate details and vibrant colors.
