As a celebrated destination, Kunming is worth a visit with its established transportation network, fun things to do, local attractions & places to visit Dali is a place worth a visit for first-time visitors to Yunnan. But even if you've been there before, it's still nice to come back occasionally to enjoy rural Chinese life without sacrificing comfort
Day 1: Kunming
Upon arrival in Kunming, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Day 2: Kunming - Dali
After breakfast at the hotel, take a high-speed train to Dali (reference train number: 09:33-11:39). Upon arrival, visit Ideal State (Dali Santorini), the filming location of Go Where the Wind Blows in Fengyangyi Village. The day will conclude with a visit to Dali Ancient Town.
Day 3: Dali
Spend the day cycling along the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, stopping for a check-in at the picturesque S Bend. Later, explore Xizhou Ancient Town, known for its well-preserved Bai architecture and rich cultural heritage.
Day 4: Dali - Lijiang
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Lijiang after lunch. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of Lijiang Ancient Town led by a Naxi auntie, providing deep cultural insights. You will also visit Black Dragon Pool, which offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains.
Day 5: Lijiang
Start the day with breakfast before heading to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Take the Spruce Meadow Cable Car, which offers breathtaking views of the alpine landscape. Continue the day with a visit to Shuhe Ancient Town, an old trading town with charming cobblestone streets and traditional Naxi architecture.
Day 6: Lijiang - Shangri-La
After breakfast, proceed to Shangri-La. En route, visit the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge and enjoy a mid-mountain scenic lunch at Tiger Leaping Gorge HFV, followed by a relaxing coffee break. The day will end with an exploration of Dukezong Ancient Town, known for its Tibetan culture and history.
Day 7: Shangri-La - Kunming
Begin the day with breakfast before visiting Pudacuo National Park, a breathtaking nature reserve featuring pristine lakes and diverse flora and fauna. You will also explore Yila Grassland, a vast open space perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of Shangri-La. In the afternoon, take a bullet train back to Kunming (reference train number: 17:12-21:42).
Day 8: Kunming
After breakfast, visit the historic Yunnan Military Academy, followed by a leisurely stroll through Nanping Pedestrian Street. Enjoy a delicious serving of Yunnan Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles (included in the itinerary). The trip concludes with a visit to the vibrant Flower Market, where you can explore the colourful array of local blooms before departing from Kunming.

Upon confirmation, by no of working days, penalty will be apply
20 days - 15 days : 50% of the full payment will be forfeited
14 days - 08 days : 75% of the full payment will be forfeited
07 days - 0 days : 100% of the full payment will be forfeited
12) Cancellation will be accepted on by written notice . But subject to hotel/supplier approval otherwise it
remain as fully charged and non-refundable
13) Sri Sutra reserve the right to alter the itinerary, accommodation, route or timing when ever necessary
or in the case of unforeseen situation
