Here’s good news to all shopaholics in Malaysia: a brand new premium outlet will open this year, and this time it’ll be in Perak!
Silverlake Brands Village will be Perak’s first ever premium outlet mall to open, and sixth in Malaysia. Located in Batu Gajah, half an hour away from Ipoh, it’s set to open late 2020.
“The construction of the premium outlet is expected to be completed by the end of this year and it will certainly provide a new shopping experience for the people,” Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu stated when he spoke to the press recently.
So what can you expect from this outlet? Firstly, there’ll be approximately 150 retail stores, an extensive food court offering all sorts of meals, and 20 bazaar-type retail units for shoppers to explore. You can also pay a visit to Lat’s “Kampung Boy” house that’s slated to open on the premises too! that’s not all.
The real main attraction here is the scenic landscape and majestic sunset view the place has to offer as the mall is built along the banks of a lake.
Silverlake Brands Village is situated near many other attractions such as Kinta Nature Bird Park and Kellie’s Castle. With most of the buildings now completed, you can start already planning for a trip here with your family!
