The presence of The Parque Cafe causes the aroma of fresh brewed coffee to be spread across the whole sanctuary which captivates outsider like me, wanting to visit the cafe eagerly.
Parque Cafe is brewed and operated by an enthusiastic team called Coffee Concepts, which are based in Johor.
Speaking of management, Coffee Concepts also manages Palladium Cafe in Eco Spring Show Village, Johor – the first cafe that marked their first inspired glasshouse cafe concept in Malaysia.
The glasshouse cafe received so much love from the public that it has led to further expansion of business today.

Burps and Giggles exudes a welcoming warmth. The café has only been open for a year and business is booming.
Burps and Giggles is a triple threat in the hipster café scene, with all three rooms boasting kitschy décor. The interior design is the result of random thoughts. “We gathered our furniture and décor from all over the place in Ipoh, and even Penang,” says the owner, Song.
Keeping it as real and as original as possible, Burps and Giggles is old school and indie. It encompasses everything that is hipster. Menus are written on the walls in chalk in the three lots, murals by a local artist adorn the walls — the largest one is hard to miss, as it is the first thing you see upon entering the café.

Open concept cafe. Love how they design the place.
Good place for casual coffee sessions with friends and family members.
They serve coffee, tea and other drinks. Food ranging from sandwich and pasta to cakes.

Clean & friendly atmosphere. Ambience is inviting and had a pretty good theme decor. Very relaxing environment.
Food garnishing is classy, yet pricing still reasonable and affordable. Tasty to the last bite. Worth going as quality assured.
Themed after motorbikes probably due to the owner’s affinity to ride. Great food & wide array of dishes available. Cater for vegetarian too. Different from it’s sister outlet, there is no steaks available.
Friendly service & air-cond environment. There is a level 2 in the case the ground floor seatings are full. Available for group functions. Brunch till dinner available whole day through. Halal restaurant, no pork served. Family friendly too.

Located around the corner next to Hiap Joo bakery, Eh He Art Cafe (previously The Ink Brew by JWC) has recently soft launched after a revamp.
This cafe-cum-gallery space holds stories of its own by preserving Malaysia’s Chinese heritage for the young generations, bringing us back in time with vintage elements that speak of timeless beauty.
Even its menu is interestingly old, if I may say so. From desserts like Chendol and Red Bean Soup, to mains like Nasi Lemak and Sin Chew beehoon, everything served here has a taste of home, something really rare at most cafes nowadays.
Eh He also takes pride in making their food extremely affordable for everyone because to them, such enjoyments in life shouldn’t be a luxury. Also, when you’re getting sick of lattes and the likes, try Eh He’s classic Kopi O which is formulated to perfection after the baristas tasted coffee beans from all over Malaysia.

In our current 21st century ‘disposable’ culture, one would not expect to see things from the past, let alone being displayed for sale in a shop.
However, Bits & Bobs is reliving our past, albeit a more recent one. Bits & Bobs have things that would make you go “I remember those good old days”.
For food, they have homemade snacks like Pop Ice Sticks, Cendol, Green Bean, Iced Red Bean, homemade Ice-Cream Potong with fruit fillings and Ice Balls (NishiBomb-Sarsi and Asam, JineeBee – Rosella and Lychee, NingNong – Gula Melaka and Lychee, BusyBee – Sarsi and Rosella).
They also have snacks like Panda bubble gums, Asam Jawa, Ikan Satay, Nano Nano, Soda Pops, White Rabbit, Choki Choki, etc.

Doubling up as a wedding photography studio and hair salon by day, Otherwise Cafe is mostly furnished by local furniture company Dumpwerk and even supports local talents by providing a performance space for live music events.
Though most of the patrons chose the café for coffees and cakes, it’s clear that they were also there to check out the unique antique decorations.

A place of sheer whimsy. The creative genius behind it is Genie Hor, a graphic designer who returned to Ipoh after more than 13 years in Kuala Lumpur and missing Ipoh, decided to return and open Tittle Tattle Houzz in March this year.
Here at Tittle Tattle Houzz every piece of furniture, wall enhancements is designed to engage, and enthral. TT Houzz has a homely theme.
It is a place for you to have a meal with your loved ones, with drink while having a heart-to-heart chat with friends. You could also enjoy something sweet with kids or read a book with your coffee. It’s mainly a place to relax and enjoy a good plate of pasta cooked just right (al dente), a pie or a sweet treat.
